kyrie: hey im' not sure if your gonna know this but i have to do this art paper for english 101. i chose this piece called the "Great Wave"... was wondering if you knew how to pronounce the author's name: katsushika hokusai--.papa: Kyrie i've have framed this print may times. I usually refer to him as Hokusai (HO ku sigh), But hi full name would sound like this: Katsushika(cot sue SHE cuh).
how does he know these things? i do not know. my papa knows all sorts of small, useful details like this which is oh-so-useful to children like me who need them.

I love parents and their endless knowledge. I am always impressed at how much they know. I always ask, HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT??!!?? It is great to be a kid. What a blessing to have parents that love you.
