Those are the words on the side of my water bottle that are coming out from a little speech bubble from that little red bot man. There's also an grape bot man and an orange bot man. Michael and I have decided that although grape bot's the cutest, orange bot definitely taste the best. I don't normally like flavored water but this stuff is amazing. There's something about it that's different then the rest of those flavored water disasters and whether it's the adorable little bot man on the front or not, I'm in love with it. I was walking through greenlife (organic) grocery store (me and michael's new favorite place to be) and i spotted these little bot characters on the shelf. I'm a sucker for advertising and this bottle had totally out done the rest on it's shelf so I bought it and drove back to school to show michael. He likes them too now and since that first little grape bot experience for me in greenlife he's gotten me berry bot and orange bot and they're are too cute to throw away. go try one! now. your whole disposition will perk up, if not for the taste (which surely it will), it will be from that little bot man.
I just can't get enough of him.
(note: you can refill bot 9 times and it taste like flavored bot every time! only 9 times though.)

how bout we all dress our children like this when they're young. no matching, no rules, just a patchwork of lovely things any way they want. i think it does so much for people to know they abide by no man-made rules when it comes to clothing. opens up so many more doors if petty restrictions can be decimated. (is that a word?)

how fantastic i think this shot is and
how much i now want a timbuk2 bag so i can be hot stuff too.

i was researching for a paper due in a couple days and kyrie just walked into our little carter room with a butterfly on her shoulder. she found him outside in the rain, fluttering around on the ground with a broken left wing. Chalice wasn't too enthused but kyrie and I have played with this little guy for the last hour and now he's resting on kyrie's dried roses sitting in the cloudy lit window cill. kyrie's convinced he will die in the next hour which makes me sad since i attach so quicky and we've already named him and taken 30 pictures. kyrie placed him on the flowers and said sweetly... "aww... he likes it there. he's found such a pretty place to die." why are butterflies so pretty and sweet and why do left wings have to break and butterflies have to die?
i named him bot.

this is what me and sienna did for
well part of it.
we also ate good southern food, played ping pong (spankpong), went for walks, ate ice pops, watched way to many episodes of lost, laid in the sun, slept in late, wrestled on the couch, napped, played with rabbits (taught my rabbit how to play dead in my arms. endlessly funny) and just good old time at the Kendal house. it was such a summertime weekend.
got to michael's flickr to see more jumping shots :)

Spring is creeping up. today and yesterday are the first warm days here at covenant in a forever long time and i'm loving it! although my wardrobe isn't learning how to catch up. it took me an hour to get dressed today and i was still uncomfortable with myself. I was burning up in drawing class and shivering on the way back to my room. and when walking down to the mailroom i wasn't sure whether to stop and stand in the warm sunshine or run for the door because the breeze was shooting up my sleeves and through my jeans. My body always takes a beating during these transition times.
but it's oh so worth it.
(these are my two friends, helen and lisa, peeking out of their bedroom window for james)
but also for the rest of you
who want to know what i did
with my week of break.
There arn't many photos but hopefully
enough to satisfy the mother.
They're all on Eric's Flickr site:
ps. i'm not sure why i wrote this entry in poetry form.

Eric took me to a ho-down last night. i thought it'd be really dorky and i'd have a hard time getting into it but it turned out to be SO FUN! i was laughing pretty much the entire time. my cheeks hurt from smiling. it's such a funny type of dancing and really confusing with the "caller" guy telling you what moves to do in cowboy lingo and in a really thick accent. there's like 100 of us and one of him and none of us knew what we doing. everyone's just sorta banging into each other and getting really dizzy for the first like five minutes of each song (or through the whole thing).
we did the electric slide to "she thinks my tractor's sexy" song--yikes!! didn't realize it til the chorus came on and was suddenly like "what am i doing??"

the more eighties skate nights come along the more i wish i'd been born alittle bit before 1988 so i really could've soaked up the whole leg warmer, neon color, crazy hair, bright makeup, big earrings, decorate-every-part-of-yourself-to-the-max thing. i'm starting to get the hang of it and it's a little bit fun.
