okay, I was mowing this lady's lawn, a lady who goes to my church group, for a couple years when she was home and also just recently, when she left for her home-state Illinois (she says the 'S' at the end is pronounced) because she moving there. I mowed the lawn until the new owners of the house got there. And wouldn't you know it, while nobody was occupying, 5 or 6 groundhogs decided they would make their tunnels uner the neighbor's fence and beneath this lady's shed? Every time I went there they'd all be out of hiding, minding their business--even though they TRESPASSED-- and walking around the yard. But then, like cockroaches when the light flicks on, they'd run away when I entered the backyard. One time I chased them. Another time I tried to blocked up their hole with a spikey car mat. I had wanted to do something...no doubt Ms. Blunier gets a kick out of her now groundhog-infested yard (she's like that)...but now it's everyone's new neighbor's problem. What was I gonna do? Club them, B-B gun them, Airsoft gun them with my MP5 that I haven't used in months? That's the story of my full dealings with groundhogs. Personally I think they're cute, especially if you're staying someplace only temporarily, but I'd have to do something about those walking furballs if they took over MY yard.
"Billy, if you're out playing and see a groundhog, take that toy lawnmower of your's and RUN OVER IT. Practice for when I give you the real thing to use."

Now I'm just going on and on. Man, it's almost 2:00am here. Anyone else stay up this late usually? I'm gonna go to bed I think, now that I'm filled up with those delicious french toast I made out of bread and hotdog buns (those are the best). Next time maybe I'll email the howard chain as a reply to a post. heh. goodnight, the Lord bless you all.
