the first snow (!!)

the first snow came today; very fast and very hard. i had been sitting at my desk struggling through a rather difficult page of english, diagramming sentences and such, when i hear mr. steve say "check out the first snow guys." snow? where? outside? already? it didn't register to me that when i looked outside i'd see huge chunks of snow hurdling through from a grey sky and a lawn already clothed with one layer of white snow and. but i did see that. and it made me all excited like it always does, though i'm more apt not to show it quite as much as i used to (clapping my hands and jumping around and smiling hopelessly). what is it about snow that cheers one up? it's cold and slippery tends to cancel things and makes things that used to be easy, difficult. like walking for instance or simply stepping outside.

but i like it. i'm sure you do too.

ps. dosen't jember look so comfortable and at ease?
yeah, i thought so too.
