Yesterday Signe, my norwegian roomie from the Mercyship, left again for Liberia. She's the one I'm staying with this summer. She'll be in Liberia for 3 weeks staying with these kids at their orphanage. She had started working on Fatima Orphanage while she was on the Mercyship after her 9-5 job as the ship accountant. When she got home last May she started raising money right away in hopes to finish all the projects they started there. She raised about $15,000. The Mercyship is back in Liberia for another 7 months and they've agreed to partner with Signe and help her with this orphanage. I got a call from her last night while she sat in an airport in Brussels...only 7 hours away from Liberia. Keep her in your prayers. There's a lot of corruption in Liberia and it's easy to get ripped off...pray against it.
